Snowcamp Excel Programme

I want to say a huge thank you to the Neil Mackenzie Trust for funding me to take part
of excel course with Snow Camp. If I didn’t have the funding, I wouldn’t have the
chance to experience this amazing course and a trip to Andorra to snow board on
actual mountains.
Doing the course changed me in lots of good ways, I feel more comfortable in social
situations and made new friends, I learned to work as part of a team, I worked hard on
my snowboarding skills and I will continue to do this now as I love this sport, and most
importantly I feel more confident in myself and this has impacted my life.
I applied for college when I came back from Andorra, and I am successful in getting a
place to train to be a professional chef. I do think getting the funding to take part in
the Snow Camp experience helped me to be more confident to do this and get into
college. It’s changed my life for the better and I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to
do this without receiving the funding that you gave me.
